Job Title: Interim Management Accountant
Contract: 2-3 months
Location: Hybrid - 3 days on site, 2 from home (flexibility required, particularly during month end)

Overview:
Opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to support a not for profit organisation on an interim basis. This role will focus on delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting budget holders, and providing insight to aid decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on month end close, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Produce and review variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
• Work closely with budget managers to review spend, challenge assumptions and provide financial insight
• Prepare clear, concise financial reports
• Present financial results at internal meetings and support senior stakeholders
• Provide a business partnering approach across departments to support financial understanding

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Management Accountant role, ideally within not for profit
• Strong month end and reporting experience
• Confident communicator with experience presenting financial information
• Ability to build relationships with non-finance stakeholders
• Immediately available or on short notice

Additional Info:

• Hybrid working pattern with some flexibility required during the initial onboarding period and at key reporting times such as month end
