Job Title: Payroll Tutor
Location: Remote (UK) – Travel Required January to May
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
We are delighted to be partnering with a leading organisation that is seeking an experienced Payroll Tutor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned payroll professional who is passionate about developing others and sharing their extensive industry knowledge.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging payroll training and coaching sessions to learners.
- Support learners through their payroll qualifications and professional development programmes.
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their goals.
- Share industry best practices and up-to-date payroll legislation knowledge.
- Develop learning materials and resources to support the training programme.
- Conduct regular reviews and one-to-one meetings with learners.
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress and achievement.
- Support learners with technical payroll queries and provide guidance where required.
- Ensure all training and assessment activities are delivered to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
- Travel to learner locations and events between January and May as required.
- A minimum of 10 years' payroll management experience is essential.
- Strong end-to-end payroll knowledge, including payroll legislation, statutory payments, pensions, and HMRC requirements.
- Previous experience mentoring, coaching, training, or managing payroll professionals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex payroll concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple learners and priorities.
- Confident using virtual learning platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
- A passion for developing talent and supporting career progression within payroll.
- Willingness and ability to travel during the January to May period.
