We are working with a growing and well-established financial planning firm to recruit an experienced Senior Paraplanner.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong paraplanner who enjoys the technical aspects of financial planning and wants to join a business that is investing heavily in growth. The role will initially focus on providing high-quality paraplanning support to a team of advisers, with potential opportunities to become involved in mentoring and team development as the business continues to expand.
The position is predominantly remote, with office attendance required once every two weeks in the Birmingham area.
The Role
Produce high-quality suitability reports and recommendations
Undertake technical research across pensions, investments and protection
Support advisers with complex financial planning cases
Ensure recommendations meet regulatory and compliance requirements
Build strong relationships with advisers and key stakeholders
Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues where appropriate
About You
Previous paraplanning experience within a financial planning environment
Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and retirement planning
Diploma qualified, or working towards Chartered status
Excellent report-writing and analytical skills
Confident communicating with advisers and stakeholders
Able to attend the Birmingham office once every two weeks
