Descriptions

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager / Showroom Manager to lead our dealership sales operation, drive performance, and achieve sales targets. This role combines sales leadership, pricing strategy, and marketing oversight, with a strong focus on motivating teams and delivering results.


Hours: 40 hours on a rota basis, Monday to Sunday

Salary: Up to £70,000 OTE (Basic + Commissions)

Benefits: Company Car, 25 days Holiday plus Bank Holiday, Birthday Leave etc.


Key Responsibilities

Sales (Hands-on)

  • Actively sell new and used vehicles to retail customers
  • Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to vehicle handover
  • Conduct test drives, negotiations, and deal closures
  • Maximise finance, insurance, and add-on product sales
  • Deliver a high-quality customer experience and build repeat business


Sales Management & Leadership

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new Sales Executives
  • Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and conversion rates
  • Approve pricing, discounts, and deal structures
  • Oversee day-to-day store and sales operations
  • Handle escalated sales-related customer issues


Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with FCA and UK consumer regulations
  • Maintain accurate sales documentation and audit standards


Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales management role within a vehicle dealership.
  • Strong leadership and team motivation skills
  • Sales-focused with sound commercial judgement
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Full UK driving licence (minimum 3 years’ driving experience preferred)
  • Additional language skills are a plus
