Job Title: Electrical Surveyor (Solar PV & Battery) – West Midlands

Location: West Midlands & Surrounding Areas (Field Based)

Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

We pride ourselves on technical excellence, quality workmanship, and delivering outstanding customer service as we continue to grow. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Surveyor to join our growing team in the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate on-site technical surveys for domestic Solar PV and Battery Storage installations


• Evaluate electrical infrastructure, roof suitability, and installation feasibility


• Prepare detailed survey reports, including photographs, measurements, and Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS)


• Liaise professionally with homeowners and the installation team


• Ensure all work meets required safety, quality, and compliance standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a qualified electrician in the UK


• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation


• 18th Edition City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent)


• BPEC Solar PV qualification preferred


• Experience in Heat Pump surveys is advantageous


• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail


• Proficient with digital reporting tools and tablets


• Full UK Driving Licence


• Must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK
