We are seeking a Junior Credit Controller to join a friendly and supportive team that offers a welcoming and collaborative working environment. This role will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the credit function, ensuring timely payment collection and maintaining accurate and organised customer accounts.

The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling them to build positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and the wider finance team. This position is ideally suited to a motivated individual looking to further develop their finance and credit control expertise within a professional and respected organisation.

Working closely with the wider finance department, you will help support healthy cash flow across the business. Key responsibilities will include chasing outstanding payments, setting up and negotiating payment plans with customers, allocating cash receipts, resolving invoice queries, and maintaining customer account records accurately and efficiently.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, with the ability to manage and manipulate financial data effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills, enabling you to prioritise workload efficiently and complete tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A proactive and hardworking attitude, with a genuine willingness to learn, develop, and progress within finance and credit control.
