D365 Business Central Finance Consultant - #2069792

Our client is looking for a Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance Consultant to strengthen the finance workstream ahead of a planned go-live on 1st August.

You will work closely with the Finance Controller and transactional finance team to complete final configuration, resolve functional gaps, and ensure users are confident operating the system across key finance processes.

This role is focused on finance stabilisation, user readiness, and delivering a successful Business Central go-live.

Responsibilities

• Review the current finance configuration within Dynamics 365 Business Central and identify gaps impacting go-live readiness
• Configure and optimise finance processes across export banking files, general ledger, deposits, and fixed assets
• Work directly with the Finance Controller to validate business requirements and align system configuration to operational needs
• Deliver hands-on support to the transactional finance team during the final stages of implementation
• Define and document finance process changes, controls, and configuration updates where required
• Lead user training sessions focused on day-to-day finance operations within Business Central
• Resolve finance-related system issues, configuration queries, and process gaps ahead of go-live
• Collaborate with implementation partners and internal stakeholders to ensure finance deliverables are completed on time
• Support user acceptance activities and provide practical guidance during final testing phases
