We have an amazing opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at a first opinion small animal veterinary practice in the City of BIRMINGHAM, West Midlands.

  • excellent full time opportunity including 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota with no Sundays and no OOH.
  • practice is busy and successful and equipped with advanced medical technologies; dental x-ray, laparoscopy, endoscopy, Kyon TPLO equipment, harmonic scalpel and K-laser etc.
  • interesting and varied caseload around 45% dogs, 40% cats, 10% rabbits, 5% small furries.
  • ideally you will have one set ops day each week, however a consult only role could be considered if preferred.
  • join a friendly, welcoming team including certificate holders.
  • CPD and certificates encouraged and funded
  • Bring your dog to work with a lovely park nearby for lunchtime walkies.
  • well located on the outskirts of the city of Birmingham in a green belt area with easy access to the countryside, city centre, motorway network and airport.

Person Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Registered with the RCVS
  • already have experience in practice
  • good routine surgical and medical skills
