About The Role
As Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day operation of the home. You'll be instrumental in maintaining high standards of care, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations, and fostering a positive, family-like environment for the young people in your care. About The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager in running the home in line with Ofsted standards and company policies
- Lead and supervise a team of Residential Support Workers, including delivering supervisions and appraisals
- Ensure personalised care plans meet the emotional, educational, and developmental needs of each young person
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stable environment
- Liaise with families, social workers, and external agencies to promote positive outcomes
- Support staff training and development, and take part in recruitment activities
- Participate in on-call duties as part of the management rota
- Uphold safeguarding practices and promote the welfare of young people at all times
- Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role within a children's residential setting is essential
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is required
- Willingness to work towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (if not already held)
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent knowledge of safeguarding, care planning, and regulatory requirements
- A caring, resilient, and professional approach to supporting young people
- Competitive salary up to £35,000 per year
