Hartshorne Group is one of the leading commercial vehicle distributors for the West Midlands, East Midlands, Shropshire, and Staffordshire. We provide full parts & service facilities for Volvo Truck & Bus as well as new and used sales, plus a diverse range of associated services.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a part time, Parts Delivery Driver to be based at our Birmingham depot.
The Role
You will be responsible for the collection and delivery parts within the Midlands area in a timely and efficient manner. You will be responsible for the management of your customer base, maximising sales opportunities, and building excellent relations with customers.
Shift Pattern
Monday and Tuesday 08.30am until 5.00pm OR Thursday and Friday 08.30am until 5.00pm plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 8.00am until 12.00 noon.
Requirements
As a delivery driver you must have a full clean valid driving licence, have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude, and willingness to work as part of an effective team. You should be a good team player and exceed customer expectations in delivering a 1st class service. Commercial experience in a similar environment or previous experience within a similar role would be a distinct advantage however full training will be provided. Must have good local knowledge of the area.
