Equity Front Office Application Support – Investment Bank – London Location: London (3 Days on-site per week) Level: Mid to Senior Our client, a leading global investment bank, is looking for an experienced Application Support Analyst to join their Front Office Technology team in London. You’ll be embedded within the equities business, working directly with traders, middle office, and technology teams across the full trading lifecycle.What you’ll do
Provide daily support for trading and post-trade workflows, particularly around booking, allocations, and commission issues
Support and troubleshoot workflows in Fidessa CTAC, CTM, FIX, and internal trading systems
Assist with onboarding new clients, building reports, and managing enhancement requests
Become the go-to person for booking/allocation and settlement processes
Own incidents through to resolution, contribute to UAT, and support global releases
What you’ll bring
Strong experience in equity trade support (cash, ETFs, swaps, etc.)Hands-on knowledge of Fidessa CTAC, FIX 4.4, and CTM workflows
Solid SQL skills and confident diagnosing application-level issues
Background supporting trading systems and working in front-office environments
Clear communicator who can handle pressure and multitask effectively
Bonus points for
Familiarity with automation/config tools like Ansible or GitHubExposure to RHEL or similar Linux environmentsDevOps interest or understanding, especially around low-latency platforms
Comfortable with occasional data centre visits (rack/stack, config work)The setup
Core hours: 9am–6pm with flexibility
On-call support rota
Occasional international travel (e.g. New York data centre visit)
