Senior Health, Safety and Security ManagerLocation: West Midlands (Hybrid Working)Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + package

We are recruiting a Senior Health, Safety and Security Manager to join a major civil engineering and infrastructure project based in Birmingham. Working directly for the client organisation, you will collaborate closely with integrated project teams to uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and security throughout the construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement robust programmes aligned with project Health and Safety targets.

• Set the strategic direction, policies, and systems relating to Health, Safety, Environmental Management, Security, Quality, and Assurance.

• Provide assurance to the Executive and Board, lead major strategic initiatives, and offer expert advice to the business.

• Foster a ‘Safe at Heart’ culture across the supply chain, driving Health and Safety performance beyond industry best practice.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for your project area.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and the supply chain to enforce a positive safety culture throughout the project.

Candidate Requirements:

• Hold, or be working towards, CMIOSH status.

• Hold, or be working towards, a NEBOSH Diploma.

• Proven experience delivering assurance across major programmes or complex organisations with multiple stakeholders.

• Demonstrated leadership of multi-disciplinary Quality or Health & Safety teams.

• Skilled in leading complex and challenging investigations.
