We are now seeking a passionate and experienced Hospitality Manager to lead the delivery of first-class hospitality at St. Andrew’s Stadium. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing high-profile events, and is committed to providing an outstanding guest experience.

Role Purpose

As Hospitality Manager, you will take ownership of planning, coordinating, and delivering hospitality services across matchdays and non-matchday events. You will lead a dedicated team, ensure premium food and beverage standards, and play a key role in creating memorable experiences for all guests. Your ability to lead from the front, uphold Levy standards, and enhance client satisfaction will be critical to the success of this role.

Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning & Coordination

  • Collaborate with clients, event organisers, and internal teams to define hospitality requirements
  • Develop comprehensive operational plans to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with catering, AV, and facilities teams to align logistics


Team Leadership

  • Lead, motivate, and manage hospitality staff including supervisors, servers, and casuals
  • Conduct pre-event briefings and regular team meetings to share objectives and standards
  • Support team development through ongoing training and performance feedback


Food & Beverage Service Oversight

  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, innovative food and beverage offerings
  • Work closely with the culinary team to align menus with guest expectations and dietary needs
  • Oversee inventory control, stock rotation, and minimise waste


Guest Experience

  • Drive a culture of service excellence and attention to detail
  • Handle guest feedback promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction
  • Tailor the guest experience to suit a variety of events and hospitality tiers


Financial & Budget Management

  • Manage budgets for hospitality operations including staffing, stock, and equipment
  • Monitor costs and identify opportunities to maximise profitability
  • Provide financial reporting and analysis as required


Health & Safety Compliance

  • Ensure all health & safety and food hygiene standards are maintained
  • Implement and enforce venue and Levy procedures to create a safe working environment


Technology & Systems

  • Use hospitality software tools for event planning, staffing, and feedback management
  • Leverage tech solutions to enhance service delivery and guest engagement


Client & Stakeholder Relationships

  • Act as the primary hospitality contact for clients, vendors, and partners
  • Build strong, professional relationships to ensure service continuity and client satisfaction


Continuous Improvement

  • Lead post-event reviews to capture feedback and implement service enhancements
  • Stay informed on industry trends and champion innovative ideas


Person Specification

Experience

  • Proven experience in a hospitality or event management role within a stadium, hotel, or large venue
  • Strong background in catering and F&B service delivery for premium clientele


Leadership

  • Ability to lead and inspire large, diverse teams
  • Experience in recruitment, training, and team development


Customer Focus

  • Passionate about delivering world-class guest experiences
  • Confident in handling high-pressure situations and resolving issues on the spot


Skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
