We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Senior Structural / Civil Engineer to join our vibrant and inclusive Building Structures team. Our team is involved in a wide range of challenging and innovative projects that provide avenues for professional growth and development.
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering technical design solutions as part of our Cities & Places multi-disciplinary design team. You will collaborate with a diverse group of professionals to create designs and deliverables that meet project requirements. Your technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills will be essential in fostering a collaborative team environment.

In this role, you will
- Contribute significantly to the delivery of technical solutions, balancing commercial, technical, and mentoring responsibilities.
- Be responsible for producing high-quality designs, calculation packages, and specifications for building structures within multi-disciplinary projects.
- Ensure the technical quality of design solutions through the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement processes.
Here's what you'll need

- A good Engineering degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent
- To be a newly Chartered or close to becoming Chartered Engineer, with membership of a relevant professional body
- Experience in the design and specification of building structures to relevant codes of practice.
- Understanding of Information Management and Digital Delivery with the ability to work and deliver solutions within the 3D environment.
- Ability to consider and incorporate sustainable design solutions within design
- Ability to develop designs to eliminate health and safety risks within the design
- Embrace new technologies including digital and automation.
