The Technology Logistics Specialist is responsible for driving the success of NFP’s technology operations in their assigned region through effective organization of technology assets and warehouse / stockroom facilities. This is a full-time, hands-on, semi-technical position based 100% in the office. The position requires strong communications skills, assertive yet friendly attitude, ability to work professionally and courteously with others, and a commitment to follow-through and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shipping and receiving technology equipment
  • Hardware Asset reclamation
  • Documenting the movement and assignment of assets to/from people and locations
  • Managing and maintaining inventory levels
  • Picking and packing equipment orders
  • Providing daily logistics support to users and technology team through clear and consistent communication
  • Managing return of hardware to vendors and manufacturers for warranty service
  • Managing Onboarding and Offboarding of personnel as it relates to hardware assignments, shipping, and receiving
  • Managing and maintaining a clean, organized, and documented workspace in the warehouse and/or office
  • Managing E-Waste and documenting the completion of lifecycle events for assets
  • Supporting and coordinating the assignment of assets to other teams for new offices, acquisitions, and other special projects
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Strong Proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Proficiency with Computer Technology, including assembling, disassembling computers preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage projects efficiently and effectively
  • Aptitude for following procedure and communicating deviation from procedure effectively and professionally (Key qualification)
  • Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency of ServiceNow preferred
  • Professional attitude and excellent interpersonal skills (Key qualification)
  • Strong ability to organize and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of internal technology team, end-users, management, and 3rd party partners and vendors (Key qualification)
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and professionally (Key qualification)
  • Strong desire to learn new technologies and ability to manage the implementation of new technology
  • Willingness to provide after-hours and weekend support when needed
  • Strong commitment to upholding NFP’s model of Business Ethics
