Warehouse Team Leader
Rotating shift - 2 weeks Morning (7.30am to 3.30pm), followed by 2 weeks Late (11.30am to 8pm Mon-Thurs and 10.30am to 7.00pm Fri).
We are looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse operative based Witton, Birmingham to act as Team Leader on a 2 week rotating shift basis.
Ideal candidates must have previous experience of working in a professional warehouse environment. Although it is preferred that candidates have previous management experience as a Team Leader, it is not essential, as consideration will be given to those who can demonstrate the ability to step up into a TL role for the first time.
Key Responsibilities
Liaise with Warehouse Manager & Assistant Manager to ensure daily targets are achieved
Ensure staff know what they are required to do, and that all SLAs are completed daily
Ensure staff work in a safe environment and all incidents are reported in a timely manner
Keep Warehouse clean and tidy and operational efficiency is maintained at all times
Ensure that stock is put away in date order and that nothing is waiting over 24 hours to be put into stock
Monitor timekeeping and Break times and make sure they are adhered to
Motivate the team and monitor performance
Essential Skills And Attributes
Reliable and highly organised with strong attention to detail
Ability to work in store environments requiring manual handling
Ability to adhere to Service Level Agreements and SOPs
Ability to communicate clearly is essential - a good command of English both written and verbal is required
Conduct must be reflective of the values of the company
