The Product Management Team are responsible for the management of these key business applications. In support we work in conjunction with an ever-increasing number of Vendors, Partners and Softcat Stakeholders.

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support two of our critical customer digital workstreams; The modernisation and ongoing optimisation of our customer platform UI & UX, initially focused on our eCommerce platform and website & the development and maintenance of our multi service customer portal 

The ideal candidate should have a software development mindset for gathering requirements, understanding the impact of changes across infrastructure and application, ensuring all requirements are comprehensively captured. They must have a strong background in digital systems, platforms, and portals, along with strong analytical skills and excellent stakeholder management.

As [Insert job title], you'll be responsible for: 

• Gathering, documenting, and analysing requirements for UI and UX change


• Collaborating with the Ecommerce Platform Owner, UI/UX Lead and developers to map and plan change


• Working with developers to identify inefficiencies in current UI/UX and propose enhancements to improve performance


• Coordinating closely with IT teams, commercial teams, and external partners to ensure alignment between business strategy and capabilities


• Assessing the business and customer impact of new features, supporting the Product Owner, Platform Owner(s) and Project Manager in prioritisation and decision-making

We'd love you to have

• 3+ Years experience as a Business Analyst within digital systems, ecommerce, or cloud platforms


• Preferred candidates will hold certifications such as the BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis, BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis, Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA), or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) 


• Appreciation for the digital customer journey


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, utilising a data-driven approach to decision-making


• Experience working in agile delivery environments, translating business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting UAT. Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira
