We’re looking for a passionate and experienced National Specification Manager to lead the implementation of our commercial specification strategy across the Siniat and Promat brands. This is a key leadership role focused on driving profitable growth through targeted specification, technical excellence, and high-impact team coaching. You’ll lead and inspire a team of Specification Advisors and Managers, enabling them to deliver value-led, integrated solutions to our customers while increasing market share and strategic alignment across the business.

What you’ll do:

·         Lead the execution of strategy and action plans to meet BU growth targets in internal specification.

·         Support the cross-brand specification of Etex products and sub-systems to meet diverse client needs.

·         Coach and develop a national team of Specification Advisors and Managers to build product and technical expertise.

·         Collaborate with the Technical Team to create project-specific packs and documentation for key accounts.

·         Provide direct or team-supported technical guidance to solve customer challenges effectively.

·         Ensure consistent delivery of compelling, technically sound value propositions for key market segments and decision makers.

·         Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration across national and regional commercial teams, Marketing, and technical departments.

 

What you’ll bring:

·         Broad experience in the UK construction industry, ideally with familiarity in related products, technologies, and sequencing of construction works.

·         Strong technical communication skills – written, verbal, and visual – tailored to diverse customer and commercial needs.

·         Proven track record in specification sales, project conversion, and business development strategy.

·         Collaborative mindset with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.

·         Ability to lead with purpose, solve problems pragmatically, and manage risk while delivering solutions.
