Location: Mobile Midlands - Severn Trent Water Contract Hours Per Week: Monday - Friday , 40 Hours Job Type: Permanent / Full Time
Working as part of the Mobile Maintenance Team, as the Area Supervisor, you will be responsible for the engineering service delivery to meet and exceed our challenging contractual targets. Along with our control hub you will play a key role in planning and supervising all planned and reactive works associated with Water and Waste Water treatment plants and pumping stations. You will be the first point of contact for the day to day operation of a major water industry contract providing planned and reactive maintenance services. As well as planning works and managing efficient service delivery you will assist with answering operational & technical queries that arise. You will complete a variety of audits on sub contracted works and Graham staff. You should have experience in dealing with clients on a daily basis and demonstrate how to build key client relationships
This is a hands-on role. You will need to have a can do attitude, as well as a flexible approach to meet the demands of the role. You will provide exceptional maintenance services to our high-profile client and go the extra mile to deliver to the highest quality standards in all areas of your performance. Main Activities of the Area Supervisor: Multi-skilled approach, you will be supervising the work of multiple trades
Liase with client staff & dealing with enquires and arranging works
Carrying out several internal audits as required
To carry out reactive and planned maintenance as well as some minor installations on water, waste water and network water sites (occasional work outside the main contract may be required)
Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered to
Use your own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with reactive maintenance activities, including sourcing parts & materials and seeking manufacturer technical support
Liaise closely with our control hub to ensure efficient response to all works
Provide detailed write-ups of works carried out to ensure our client is kept up to date at all times

About You Essential Criteria
Good Knowledge of Building mainaintence requirements
12 months experience in providing call out services
Previous experience working in the building mainainantence industry
Full UK Drivers License
Desirable Criteria
CSR Site Supervisors Gold Card
COSHH training
Manual Handling training
Confined space training
Registered CSCS/CSR Card (Or equivalent)
National Water Hygiene card holder
SMSTS Training
Asbestos Awareness
First aid training
