Site Engineer – Birmingham HS2

Danny Sullivan Group are currently looking for a Site Engineer to cover a role based in the Midlands on HS2.

The ideal candidate for this role would come from a Heavy Civils/Earthworks background and would have proven experience in planning, coordinating and supervising all aspects of a project.

Responsibilities:

• Setting out works based on engineers’ drawings, site surveys, and as-built documentation.
• Reading and interpreting drawings for layout, material measurements, and other project requirements.
• Coordinating with subcontractors and the general workforce on-site.
• Planning tasks efficiently to meet project timelines and programme targets.
• Communicating with client representatives and design team members as needed.
• Ensuring all work is conducted in compliance with the highest Health and Safety standards.
• Upholding high-quality standards throughout all stages of the project.
• Managing material orders and inventory control on-site.
• Keeping accurate and up-to-date site records.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Completed a third level qualification in Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivating to deliver on safety, quality & programme.
• Strong IT Skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Salaries are negotiable and additional benefits will depend on the work status of candidates.
