We are seeking a committed and compassionate Sixth Form Pastoral Manager to play a key role in supporting the academic and personal success of our Sixth Form students. You will work closely with the Head of Sixth Form and Sixth Form Leadership Team to foster high standards of behaviour, attendance, and well-being. The role involves a blend of student-facing responsibilities, safeguarding, attendance monitoring, and leadership tasks.
Key responsibilities include:
· Ensuring excellent student conduct, punctuality, and attendance
· Building positive relationships with students and supporting their pastoral needs
· Overseeing and supervising Sixth Form Study
· Coordinating interviews, student voice surveys, and supporting admissions
· Leading Pastoral Assistants
· Supporting the wider Sixth Form team with administrative and pastoral duties
What we’re looking for:
· A proactive and caring individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
· Experience in pastoral care or working with young people in an educational setting
· A strong understanding of safeguarding and student welfare
· Ability to lead, manage and build trust with students and staff alike
