We’re now on the lookout for a talented BDE Team Leader to guide and inspire our Birmingham-based Business Development Executives. What will you do?


As our BDE Team Leader, your mission is to coach, mentor, and inspire a team of Business Development Executives – from new starters to more experienced team members – helping them maximise performance and achieve their goals.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Coaching and mentoring team members regularly to support their development
  • Hitting your own individual sales targets alongside team objectives
  • Collaborating with Sales Team Leaders to drive conversion and GP from opportunities
  • Reporting team progress, risks, and concerns to the Head of BDE
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding of new BDEs
  • Ensuring high levels of product knowledge and delivering relevant training
  • Driving performance through pipeline management and strategy alignment
  • Leading 1-2-1s and performance reviews
  • Ensuring your team is equipped with the tools, training, and collateral they need to succeed
  • Embedding the vision and sales strategy as defined by the Head of BDE

What you’ll need


  • Strong telesales / cold calling background
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Solid understanding of sales processes and KPIs
  • Confidence in giving constructive feedback and holding team members accountable
  • A performance mindset with a focus on targets and outcomes

Nice to have


  • Experience in B2B telesales in telecoms or IT industries
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment
