Assistant Bridge Engineer - #1716832

An internationally renowned, multi-disciplinary consultancy is expanding it's bridge engineering team and looking for Bridge Engineers with 1-4 years experience to join them. This growth comes off the back of significant global project wins.This is a unique opportunity to get involved in the design, assessment, and inspection of major bridge projects both in the UK and internationally - including Eastern Europe, Saudi Arabia, Canada, and Australia. Current projects include:

• Bridges on the high-profile Rail Baltica corridor
• Two new multi-span suspension bridges near the iconic Wadi Laban Bridge in Saudi Arabia
• A major tunnelling and bridge integration project in Germany

As an assistant bridge engineer you will be working on the detailed design, assessment and inspection of these bridge structures and be given full support towards Chartership with the ICE or IstructE.Key Assistant Bridge Engineer Responsibilities

• Delivering technical assignments, work elements, work packages and project engineering design activities under supervision
• Numerical analysis and preparation of technical reports
• Use of software to undertake engineering design
• Site visits and design team meetings as required
• Application of your acquired skills and knowledge in a range of environments
• Successful contribution to and delivery of projects in a team environment

Key Assistant Bridge Engineer Qualifications

• An honours degree in relevant subject area
• Understanding of the application of Engineering principles and design development
• Previous use of Computer Aided Design and Modelling
• Be a problem solver and collaborative teammate with good communication skills
• Be already pursuing Chartership with the ICE or IstructE
