Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer looking to work at the cutting edge of aerospace engineering?

We’re recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a high-performance team dedicated to driving process innovation, product quality, and production efficiency in a precision aerospace manufacturing environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in both the optimisation of current operations and the industrialization of new product introductions (NPI).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimise manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Lead and support New Product Introductions (NPI) including tooling, validation, and process development.
  • Drive lean and continuous improvement initiatives (RFT, waste reduction, kaizen, value stream mapping).
  • Apply APQP, PPAP, and FMEA methodologies to ensure process and product readiness.
  • Implement and maintain process documentation (SOPs, work instructions, routings).
  • Troubleshoot production issues using structured problem-solving methods (8D, DMAIC).
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP).

About You:

  • Degree or HND in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience operating in aerospace, automotive, or precision engineering environments.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, process control, and statistical techniques.
  • Proficient with engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Experienced in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and process validation.

Desirable:

  • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Understanding of special processes (e.g., forging, heat treatment, machining).
