SEN Teaching Assistant – KS2 1:1 Support

Start date: September

Contract type: Long-term (until July)

Daily rate: £90–£110 (paid PAYE)

Onboarding with Elevate Supply begins in May

A nurturing and inclusive school in Hockley (B18) is looking for a caring and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Key Stage 2 pupil with autism and sensory needs. This long-term position is available from September, following classroom growth and the arrival of several new EHCP-funded pupils.

You will be based in a calm Year 4 class and supported by a SENCO who provides weekly briefings and training. Visual supports, communication systems, and movement breaks will be part of your day-to-day approach.

Requirements

• Experience supporting children with SEND, ideally autism
• Able to follow EHCP targets and work flexibly within the classroom
• Calm and consistent approach to behaviour and communication
• Committed to inclusive practice and pupil progress
