Neon Contracts is employing for our client in the West Bromwich area, they are a leading manufacturer and distributor of electrical, mechanical, and safety infrastructure solutions. With approximately 3,900 employees and 65 manufacturing and distribution facilities worldwide, we manufacture electrical conduit, cable management systems, armoured cable, metal framing, and security products and solutions.

Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components to assemble structural forms.

What youll do:
Perform sheet metal welding using various techniques
Utilise hand and power tools to weld and assemble metal components
Fabricate and weld parts according to technical drawings
Conduct stick welding for structural integrity
Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
Demonstrate mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance.

What you bring:
Proven experience in welding and fabrication
Proficiency in sheet metal welding techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Familiarity with hand and power tools for metalwork
Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment operation and maintenance.

Hours of work will be 39 hours per week, around 8am start.

Hourly pay rate - £14-£15 per hour
