Summary
As Business Development for Tructyre, you will strategically identify and convert large, new key account business opportunities across all market segments.
The role:
- Identify new business opportunities and prioritise securing the business which gives the greatest return for the business for the time available to invest.
- Understand the key value drivers of each potential customer, ensuring that Tructyre’s service business model is explained in full to the customer base and that the customer specific value proposition is understood by the customer so that a high level of business is secured.
- To achieve agreed monthly, quarterly and annual targets and KPI’s.
- Ensure all quotations are issued in accordance with the authorised pricing levels, in the approved format and with the authorised terms and conditions of sale and payment terms.
- Manage multi-level customer contact, from senior board level through to operational level.
- Maintain a fully accurate and up to date sales pipeline in the company’s CRM system.
- Take a leading role in implementing new business wins in the business with a clear handover process to the relevant Operational colleagues in line with our commercial policy.
The person:
Previous B2B new business experience.
Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets within a sales role.
Experience in value-based selling.
Experience of selling into large, complex organisations.
Tyre industry experience would be an advantage.
Delivers results and meets customer expectations.
Is planned and organised.
Makes a strong personal impression on people.
Establishes good relationships with internal stakeholders and customers.
Demonstrates commercial business acumen.
Has excellent communication and presentational skills.
This role is a national role, therefore a full valid driver’s licence is required. Candidates will ideally live within a reasonable commute of our head office in Birmingham.
