My client is a a growing bespoke furniture manufacturer, known for our commitment to high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional design. Our workshop produces custom pieces for discerning clients, and we pride ourselves on creating furniture that stands the test of time. Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our team with a motivatedBench Joinerwho shares our passion for fine woodworking.


Role Overview:


As aBench Joiner, you will be a key part of our production team, working primarily on the joinery bench to craft bespoke furniture pieces. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous experience in bench joinery or transferable woodworking skills who is looking to develop further within a supportive and skilled team.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Manufacture high-quality bespoke furniture and cabinetry from technical drawings and specifications

  • Use a variety of hand tools and woodworking machinery

  • Work with different timbers and sheet materials

  • Assemble and finish products to exacting standards

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production and top-quality output

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace


What Were Looking For:



  • Ideally, previous experience on a joinery bench or in a cabinet-making environment

  • Strong woodworking skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills

  • Team player with good communication and time management skills

  • Right to work in the UK and able to commute to our onsite workshop
