As a Floor Covering Coordinator at GES, you will be responsible for the coordination of key administrative tasks within Floor Covering and Central Planning. By following integrated planning processes, the role will execute internal and external coordination with a primary focus on Floor Covering.
Key activities and responsibilities
Complete accurate floor covering estimates by liaising with Account Management and retrieving data from our MIS system Clarity.
Using excellent organisational skills and following specifically detailed SOP’s complete various daily/weekly tasks.
Within Clarity process and record data, ensuring this system is always kept up to date.
Working with Show Build Live, ensure all pre-show preparation for Floor Covering is fulfilled in accordance with our SOP’s and processes.
Liaise with our suppliers and partners, place accurate orders of various floor covering materials, transport and labour.
Process, issue, verify and receipt purchase orders using Sage and Clarity for both internal and external suppliers.
Arrange travel and hotel accommodation for the Floor Covering Delivery team as required.
Process telephone queries and e-mail requests from both internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain and update costing data as required through our various systems and processes.
Working with the Delivery team, record and process final figures when events are complete.
Issue invoices where necessary and ensure a smooth process for external suppliers, partners, contractors and sub-contractors.
Carry out administrative support within the Central Planning Team when required, including ordering uniform, stationery and absence / holiday cover.

Salary
This role offers a competitive salary, dependent on experience. We operate a reward strategy based on our team members receiving a salary that best reflects their experience and skill level.
Hours of work
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm. On occasion you may be required to work evenings and weekends during busy periods to meet the demands of the business.
Annual leave
Our holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum (plus bank holidays and statutory public holidays).
