A welcoming school in Small Heath (B10) is looking for a confident Year 5 Class Teacher to join their KS2 team from September. The school was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and has strong staff retention and behaviour support systems in place. The role has opened due to a staff member retiring, and planning support will be available from the experienced parallel class teacher.

The class has 28 pupils, a full-time teaching assistant, and a diverse range of abilities. The school uses Talk for Writing and White Rose Maths, and regular moderation and coaching sessions are built into the timetable.

Requirements

• QTS with recent experience in Key Stage 2
• Strong classroom management and assessment skills
• Ability to differentiate effectively for a wide range of needs
• Willingness to work closely with families and support wider school events
