Our Casualty Claims team services a diverse and growing range of international and UK business. Key territories include Canada, Australia, Ireland, the USA, and UK. We work through a network of brokers and directly with clients to tailor solutions to the needs of our customer base. Our Business, Your Impact, Our Opportunity
What you’ll be doing:
- Responsibility for a caseload of technical liability claims in key Sompo jurisdictions with particular focus on UK and Ireland.
- Proven expertise and handling of losses valued in excess of GBP250,000.
- Maintaining operational and technical oversight of key outsource arrangements.
- Ensuring accuracy of financial recording and reporting under referral to management.
- Acting as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong work ethic. Will set high standards and be accountable for output.
- Excellent UK technical claims handling experience.
- Experience of multi-jurisdictional primary and excess layer claims also helpful.
- Enthusiasm to develop and train team members to support ongoing career progression.
- Accountable for decision making and will act honestly and ethically at all times.
- Solid experience of Pre-action Protocols, Portal of Low Value Personal Injury Claims, Compensation Recovery Unit, and London Market processes and procedures.
