Kane Group is an established, successful multi-disciplinary building-services solution contractor with its Head Office based in Banbridge, Northern Ireland.


We are an innovative, forward-thinking company experiencing steady growth, serving sectors such as residential, hospitality, education, commercial, and healthcare. We have offices in Northern Ireland, London, Birmingham, Glasgow, and the Republic of Ireland.


We are currently seeking a Senior Administrator.


The successful candidate will support our Birmingham office by assisting with daily administration and coordination across sites in the Midlands and UK. The role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to the Pre-Construction and Operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.


Key Responsibilities

General Administration



  • Provide administrative support to the Estimating & Operations teams, including document preparation, data entry, diary management, correspondence, and visitor reception.

  • Manage office resources such as supplies, meeting scheduling, mail, and filing (both physical and digital).

  • Coordinate travel, meetings, and prepare supporting materials like slides and visual aids.

  • Handle calls, emails, and visitor interactions professionally, acting as a liaison between internal teams, clients, and suppliers.

  • Support Birmingham Leadership Team with confidential administrative tasks as needed.


Compliance & Records Management



  • Serve as Birmingham Office Safety Coordinator and support ISO audits, NICEIC inspections, insurance renewals, and business continuity documentation.

  • Oversee accurate filing and distribution of SHEQ documents, ensuring compliance with standards.

  • Use Kane Group platforms (Field View, Viewpoint, 4Projects) to manage project and business information.

  • Create and manage purchase and subcontract orders using financial systems.

  • Assist departments such as HR, Accounts, Procurement, and Commercial with timesheets, absence tracking, invoice filing, expenses, and other admin tasks.


Project & Operations Support



  • Manage distribution and tracking of project documents, RFIs, technical submissions, and deliverables.

  • Support progress reports, defect management, handovers, and collation of manuals and certifications.

  • Ensure adequate stock of PPE, stationery, and site materials.


Experience & Knowledge



  • Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent), with passes in English and Mathematics.

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

  • Background in building services and/or construction sectors.

  • Experience with systems implementation.

  • Skilled in document control systems like Viewpoint, Field View, and 4Projects.

  • Comfortable handling routine and complex tasks.

  • Willing to travel within the UK and Ireland.
