The Lead Data Analytics Engineer will be accountable for driving the reporting vision and strategy to enable data-driven decision-making across the firm.
The role will report to the Data Solutions Manager and join a team of dedicated data engineers and analytics to enhance the firm's data management practices
This role can be based out of any of our UK offices, and our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests.
Candidate Overview
We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:
- Experience leading the technical development of data analytics projects, taking ownership for designing and building innovative data solutions.
- Able to influence, challenge and upskill stakeholders at all levels, specifically to enhance the roll out and adoption of Power BI.
- Support in setting the direction and vision of Data Analytics and Reporting, putting in place frameworks and guidance to support colleagues in reaching this vision, instilling a culture of quality, reliability and innovation in the team
- Must have at least 3+ years’ experience using Power BI, with full competency of the tool, architecture, roadmap features and solid experience in Power BI administration.
- Experienced in coaching and mentoring junior colleagues in technical skills.
- Expert working knowledge of scripting/programming languages: DAX, SQL, Python or R.
- Insight into data lake architecture and cloud technologies.
- Data Analytics & Reporting related industry recognised certification would be highly advantageous.
