Responsibilities:

• Lead Product Innovation: Oversee the ideation, development, and execution of new beauty and skincare products, ensuring they meet customer needs and align with the latest market trends.


• Strategy Development: Develop and implement the NPD strategy, focusing on growth opportunities, market demands, and brand positioning.


• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across R&D, marketing, design, and operations to ensure the timely and efficient development of new products.


• Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in skincare and beauty to inspire product innovation and differentiate the brand in a competitive market.


• Project Management: Manage and prioritise NPD projects, ensuring deadlines are met, and products are developed within budget.


• Quality Control: Ensure all new products meet the highest standards of quality, efficacy, safety, and sustainability.


• Brand Alignment: Ensure all new products align with the brand's core values, aesthetics, and sustainability goals.


• Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.


• Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research and consumer testing to gather feedback and insights, optimising product formulations and packaging.


• Launch Execution: Oversee the successful launch of new products, collaborating with marketing and sales teams for impactful go-to-market strategies.


• Sustainability Focus: Champion sustainable and ethical practices in product development, ensuring products are both effective and environmentally responsible.

About you:

• Proven Experience: 6+ years of experience in new product development in the beauty, skincare or cosmetics industry, with at least 3 years in a senior NPD role.


• Innovative Mindset: Strong ability to think creatively and push the boundaries of product development.


• Leadership: Experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


• Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of current beauty and skincare trends, consumer behaviour and industry innovations.


• Project Management: Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively with marketing, R&D, design and operations teams.


• Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Strong business acumen with the ability to make data driven decisions that align with business goals.
