Job Title: Compliance and Training Manager | Location: 783 Duke Street, Glasgow, G31 1LL
So what’s it all about?
As our next Compliance and Training Manager, you will have a real passion and dedication for food safety, technical, people and training. You will be excited by the opportunity to play a key role in ensuring that food safety and quality standards are met while implementing a continuous improvement plan.
Your remit will be to ensure the production of safe, legal, and high-quality food, following BRC and retailer regulations.
To excel in this role, you must have a strong personality with excellent communication skills. You will enjoy working alongside and developing the technical and wider bakery team with an effective and engaging training delivery style.
Working alongside a team of colleagues in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, you will oversee the monitoring of food safety systems through internal audits and training, driving continuous improvement efforts to achieve great results across technical standards and site objectives.
You are someone who thrives under pressure and can handle challenging conversations.
This role is not for someone looking to be in the office at a desk, it requires visibility in the bakery to really make an impact.
You will have the opportunity to join a well-established, high-performing team and collaborate with the hygiene, manufacturing, and engineering departments to drive best-in-class technical standards and practices.
You will enjoy the rewarding outcomes of audits and training, as well as contribute to the growth and development of colleagues on site when it comes to all things technical.
The Key Requirements...
- Food safety management experience
- Exposure to BRC and M&S audits
- Managing HACCP systems
- Strong influencing skills
- Effective & engaging communication style
- IT literate
