Legal Support Assistant Family - #1672002

The post holder will work with a team of specialists and be part of the Legal Services Team.

We are a progressive and forward thinking firm and you will provide high level support enabling lawyers to operate at optimum efficiency. The role will include preparing initial appointment letters and emailing/sending to the clients, using DocuSign for electronic signatures when required and assisting with efficient billing. You will also assist with court proceedings which will include filing applications and documents with the court, and producing court bundles.

The post holder will be expected to use a high degree of self-management and initiative, and they will need to maintain a highly professional, efficient, confidential and friendly approach, along with ensuring a quality service is always achieved. The role would suit someone who has worked in a busy, professional team orientated environment, and whilst previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage, it is not a necessity for the right candidate.

This is an ideal job for someone looking to qualify into a legal role in the future. You must be confident in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel and have the ability to work across a range of IT platforms. You will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a busy environment, have a good telephone manner and communication skills. Organisational and time management skills are essential, along with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
