We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to work on a full-time, long-term contract in Birmingham.
The role will be office based, but is subject to the clients flexible working policy. The rate of pay for this position ranges between £28.45p to £30.30p per hour PAYE (depending on experience). Applicants are advised that they will need to successfully pass through national security checks prior to taking up the post, and that this process can take several weeks to complete. Job profile: The role holder will be responsible for the day to day running and delivery of allocated business change projects, resulting in the successful delivery of the required business benefits. Main Responsibilities: * Define and agree priorities for business requirements for force departments recommend appropriate solutions and prepare specifications required for those solutions. * Actively engage with the Project Owner, SRO and other stakeholders during the course of a project and communicate effectively on project deliverables to ensure they are well received by the recipients of the change and that the project is successfully delivered * Advise Project Boards, resolve issues and recommend corrective action as appropriate so that projects are sustained and implemented, working within the agreed decision-making process * Prepare project documentation, using the Force's Project Management standards and methodologies, associated toolkits and guidance. Setting out the project objectives, plan, costs and performance measures to ensure that work is carried out in a timely and effective manner and to meet budgets and deadlines Experience: * Proactive change management and delivery of service change * Project and Change Management methodologies, techniques, and tools. * PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent project management training * Educated to degree level or have substantial experience (min 2 years) in a relevant field * Project Management (scoping, planning and execution) If you would like to be considered for this position and have the relevant experience, then please apply now!
