BMS Project Manager - #1658374

We have an exciting new opportunity for a BMS Project Manager to join a leading engineering company specializing in Building Management Systems (BMS). The successful candidate will manage projects for multiple blue-chip clients, working on large-scale commercial projects across the West Midlands.

The Role

As a BMS Project Manager, you'll be responsible for managing all aspects of BMS projects from design through to commissioning and handover. You will work closely with engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to clearly define the project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to achieve objectives.
• Work with the project team to establish a project management plan based on the relevant Project Management Process.
• Coordinate with technical teams (architects, engineers, developers, and IT specialists) to manage the project schedule from conception to delivery.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
• Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact project timelines or deliverables.
• Identify project changes and constraints that may affect project objectives.
  
  

What they are looking for?

• Someone who has a strong technical background on BMS systems with at least 5+ years experience.
• Experience with resource allocation and budget management
• Strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills
• Some understanding of software engineering concepts and practices
• A willingness to learn the clients product set, which ranges from Data Centres, Power and Building Automation
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
