We are looking for 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistants for both mainstream Primary schools and SEN schools in Birmingham.
Looking for SEND 1:1 Teaching assistants for all years groups in Primary and Secondary
Location - South , North and Central Birmingham
Position - SEN Teaching Assistant
Type of work - SEN Teaching Assistant
Contract or position start date - ASAP
Duration / Likely Duration - End of the academic year
Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temp/Long Term
Full time/part time - Full time
Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £75- £95 per day DOE
Hours - 8:30 am - 3.30pm : 5 times a week , 3 days a week, two days a week(term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Have you got all or some of the following
Level 2 or 3 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent
Candidate will need to be resilient & comfortable in 1:1 settings
Experience in SEMH/ Challenging Behaviour is mandatory
Care background and experience with SEN
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH Aspire People, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional related references that cover at least the last two year
