Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant Long-term role, working full-time within school hours Ofsted ‘Good’ primary school located in the City of Wolverhampton Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant role, starting immediately £70 - £80 per dayThe Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant Role:In this Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant position, you will be providing support for children across both Key Stage 1 and 2. You will support teaching staff with delivering lesson material, managing classroom behaviour, and providing support to learners in need of additional assistance.

As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you will also work with pupils on a 1:1 basis who may have SEN, EAL, or require additional assistance with phonics, numeracy, spelling or reading. You will also lead or take part in small group intervention sessions, uplifting pupil attainment. The Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant:To be eligible for this Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant role, you must have recently completed a degree in Psychology or be graduating this summer.

Ideally, you will have experience working with primary aged children, and be able to demonstrate a versatile knowledge of the curriculum. You mut have excellent communication skills, as well as being able to provide a nurturing, stimulating space for the children you support to learn.
