About the Healthcare Assistant Position
We are looking to recruit dedicated Health Care Assistants to provide complex care to a wonderful teenage girl in her family home as well as her school environment.
Our service user has Cerebral Palsy and due to her not being able to independently mobilise she will be requiring your support with all manual handling and personal care. You will also be her advocate in verbalising her needs and wishes, likes and dislikes which our young lady will communicate with you via sounds and facial expressions. On a day to day basis you will support with her administration of her nutritional intake via a Gastrostomy PEG along with administering all medications prescribed including Nebuliser and any secretion management via Oral and Naso suctioning.
This fun loving and articulate young lady enjoys the company of her friends and family and looks forward to participate in many activities in and out of school which include Arts & Crafts, Music, Sensory lights and having a story read to her.
Healthcare Assistants ideally will have worked with similar clinical complex care, however full complex care training and support will be provided to you.
Hours of work will be;
Mon - Fri 08.00 - 16.00
Sat & Sun 10.00 - 14.00
