About the Healthcare Assistant Position
We are looking to recruit dedicated Health Care Assistants to provide care to an adult male in his own home whom has a variety of medical conditions including Cerebral Palsy, Profound Learning Disabilities, Dysphasia and Dystonic Quadriplegia. .
As a Healthcare assistant you will be working alongside a colleague as this service user requires 2:1 support at all times to ensure all of his medical and personal needs are safely met.
On a daily basis you will support with all manual handling and personal care needs. In additional to these you will support with airway and secretion management via his Tracheostomy site, performing suctioning when required. Administering all dietary & medication intake via his Gastrostomy as well as observing and responding to any Epileptic activity in line with his detailed care plan.
Healthcare Assistants ideally will have worked with similar clinical complex care, however full complex care training and support will be provided to you.
