An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and commercially minded Credit Controller to join a highly reputable, international organisation based in Birmingham City Centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an established finance function, taking ownership of a portfolio of customer accounts and playing an important role in supporting the business's cash flow and financial performance.

You'll be responsible for proactively managing outstanding debt, contacting customers to secure payments, monitoring aged debt and resolving account queries. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external clients, you'll build strong relationships, investigate discrepancies and ensure invoices are settled within agreed payment terms. You'll also support account reconciliations, maintain accurate customer records and identify potential risks before they become larger issues.

Skills Required

  • Previous experience within Credit Control, Accounts Receivable or Sales Ledger.
  • Confident managing customer accounts, chasing outstanding payments and reducing aged debt.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

What You Will Receive

  • A fantastic opportunity to join a globally recognised organisation, with an established reputation within its sector.
  • Hybrid working, offering a balance between office collaboration and flexibility.
  • A high-profile finance environment, giving you exposure to a broad range of clients and stakeholders.
  • Career development opportunities, with the chance to strengthen your technical and commercial finance experience.
  • A varied and rewarding position, where you'll have genuine ownership of your portfolio and the opportunity to make an impact.

Summary

If you're an ambitious Credit Controller looking to take the next step within a well-established international organisation, this could be an excellent opportunity.

Whether you're an experienced Credit Controller or an Accounts Receivable professional looking to develop further, we're keen to hear from individuals who are confident communicators, commercially aware and passionate about delivering results.
