Graduate Financial Accountant

Our client is a well-established international business seeking an ambitious Graduate Financial Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance graduate or early-career accountant with 1-3 years of experience who is looking to broaden their technical accounting knowledge and work closely with experienced finance leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting
• Support treasury activities, including cashflow reporting and forecasting
• Assist with daily banking activities and cash reconciliations
• Support VAT returns and other regulatory submissions
• Help coordinate information requests from external auditors
• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end reporting requirements
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives across the finance function
• Support compliance activities and internal control reviews
• Assist with ad hoc finance projects and analysis

About You

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
• Ideally 1-3 years' experience within finance, accounting or audit
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
• Eager to learn and develop within a technical accounting environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
