We're recruiting a Business Readiness Lead to play a pivotal role in a high-profile transformation programme that will reshape how a large and complex organisation delivers services.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced change professional who enjoys operating at the intersection of people, process and technology. You'll have the autonomy to lead the business readiness strategy, work closely with senior stakeholders, and directly influence the successful adoption of a significant new platform and operating model.

If you thrive on bringing structure to complex programmes, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring organisations are truly ready for change, this role offers the visibility, challenge and impact you're looking for.

What's on Offer?

  • Salary up to £70,000
  • 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
  • Hybrid Working
  • Lead a Major Transformation Programme
  • High Visibility Role with Senior Stakeholder Exposure
  • Opportunity to Influence Go-Live Readiness and Business Outcomes

The Role

As Business Readiness Lead, you'll own the readiness workstream from planning through to deployment, ensuring the business is fully prepared to adopt new processes, systems and ways of working.

Working across multiple teams, you'll provide assurance that operational, people and process impacts have been understood, addressed and embedded ahead of key programme milestones.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the end-to-end business readiness strategy and plan
  • Assessing organisational impacts and operational change requirements
  • Defining readiness criteria, measures and governance frameworks
  • Driving stakeholder engagement across business and programme teams
  • Facilitating workshops and readiness assessments
  • Identifying risks, gaps and dependencies that could impact successful adoption
  • Coordinating training, communications and business implementation activities
  • Producing readiness reporting and providing clear recommendations to senior leadership
  • Supporting deployment planning and go-live decision-making

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

Essential

  • Proven experience leading Business Readiness, Business Change or Organisational Change activities
  • Experience working on large-scale business or technology transformation programmes
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leaders
  • Experience assessing operational impacts and driving adoption activities
  • Ability to challenge constructively and provide clear recommendations
  • Excellent facilitation, communication and influencing skills

Desirable

  • Experience within housing, property, repairs, maintenance, field service or asset-intensive environments
  • Service transition or operational readiness experience
  • Knowledge of mobile workforce, scheduling or operational platforms
  • Benefits realisation or change assurance experience

Why Apply?

You'll be joining a programme at a critical stage, with the opportunity to influence how a major organisation prepares for, adopts and embeds change. The role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders, real programme ownership, and the chance to leave a lasting impact on how services are delivered in the future.
