We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing Birmingham-based team delivering planned maintenance, retrofit and refurbishment programmes across the Midlands. You'll be part of a team delivering projects that genuinely improve residents' lives contributing to safer, warmer, and more sustainable homes across the Midlands.

Description

• Manage project costs and maintain clear, accurate commercial records throughout delivery.
• Prepare cost plans, estimates and financial reports to support informed project decisions.
• Review tender documents and assess quotations to help secure suitable suppliers and subcontractors.
• Track project spend against budgets and highlight changes that may affect cost outcomes.
• Prepare valuations and manage payment information to maintain accurate financial records.
• Review variations and agree cost changes with relevant project contacts.
• Work with project teams to provide practical commercial input during project delivery.
• Prepare final account information and close commercial records at the end of each project.

Profile

A successful 'Senior QS' should have:

• Strong quantity surveying experience within property projects.
• Experience preparing estimates, cost plans and project financial reports.
• Confidence managing budgets, valuations and variations.
• Knowledge of tender reviews, quotations and subcontractor cost information.
• Ability to maintain accurate commercial records and final account details.
• Clear communication skills when working with project colleagues and external contacts.

Job Offer

• Permanent Senior QS position based in Birmingham.
• Salary of £60,000 to £65,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Plus package.
