Senior Finance Systems Developer - #2187245

Mitchell Adam are partnering with an established Professional Services business to recruit a Senior Finance Systems Developer. This is a senior technical role combining hands-on development, team leadership and the opportunity to work with emerging technologies across a varied finance systems environment.

You'll lead development across bespoke applications, integrations and AI-driven solutions, taking projects through the full lifecycle from design and development to testing and deployment. Working with Python, SQL, C#/.NET and REST APIs, you'll also act as the main technical escalation point for complex system issues and help ensure applications remain reliable and effective.

Alongside your technical responsibilities, you'll mentor and develop other members of the team, helping shape best practice and improve overall capability. With opportunities to explore AI integration and develop your knowledge of modern finance systems, this is an excellent step for an experienced developer looking to combine technical delivery with greater ownership and influence. You will be in a client facing area of the business, tying in your technical skillset with the opportunity to present.

• Strong Python development experience, ideally using Flask, alongside C#/.NET.

• Advanced SQL/T-SQL skills, including complex queries, stored procedures and performance tuning.

• Experience with REST APIs, JSON integrations, HTML/CSS and the full development lifecycle.

• Previous team leadership or mentoring experience, supported by strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• A senior position with ownership of business-critical applications and integrations.

• The opportunity to lead and mentor a small technical team while remaining hands-on.

• Exposure to AI, LLM integration and other developing technologies.

• Very hyrbid work, with three days from home.
