Excellent opportunity for an Electronic Test Engineer to join an internationally recognised manufacturer, with long-term career progression on offer to controls systems or service engineer roles.

Based in Birmingham, the company designs and manufactures specialist products for the marine industry. They pride themselves on being a great place to work, which is shown by their great staff retention. They have recently moved to newly equipped larger premise and due to growth are seeking multiple Electronic Test Engineers to join their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for testing and repairing electronic products, sub-assemblies and PCBs, alongside providing technical engineering support to the production team. You will also investigate faulty equipment returned from vessels and maintain company test equipment.

THE ROLE:
*Testing electronic products, PCB assemblies and sub-assemblies.
*Diagnosing and repairing faulty electronic equipment.
*Maintaining test equipment and supporting production with technical issues.

THE PERSON:
*BTEC ONC/NVQ Level 3 in Engineering with 2 years' experience, or 5+ years' relevant industry experience.
*Able to interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
*Experience in electronic testing and fault finding
