Loss Adjuster – Commercial & Business Interruption

Location: Home Based – Covering England (Location Flexible)

Salary: Up to £60,000 + Bonus

I'm working with a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Loss Adjuster to join a growing team, handling a portfolio of Commercial Property and Business Interruption claims across England.

This is a home-based position, offering excellent flexibility on location, with the successful individual managing their own geographical area and travelling to client sites as required.

The Role

• Manage a portfolio of Commercial Property and Business Interruption claims from initial instruction through to settlement.
• Undertake site visits, investigating and assessing losses to establish the circumstances, extent of damage and policy liability.
• Handle complex commercial claims, including Business Interruption losses.
• Liaise with policyholders, brokers, insurers, solicitors and other stakeholders throughout the claims process.
• Prepare detailed reports, recommendations and settlement proposals.
• Negotiate settlements while ensuring claims are handled efficiently and professionally.
• Manage customer expectations and deliver a high level of service throughout the claims journey.

About You

• Previous experience working as a Loss Adjuster.
• Strong knowledge of Commercial Property claims.
• Experience handling Business Interruption claims is essential.
• Confident managing claims independently, from investigation through to settlement.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable working remotely and managing your own workload and diary.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across your allocated territory.
