School Improvement Advisor (Primary/EYFS) - #2185688

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced education leader to join Birmingham's School Improvement team as a School Improvement Advisor.

You will play a key role in improving educational outcomes for children and young people across Birmingham, working closely with schools, Trusts, the Local Authority and partners including Ofsted and the Department for Education.

Working with a designated group of schools, you will monitor and evaluate performance, provide appropriate challenge and support, and help school leaders identify priorities for improvement. You will support schools with self-evaluation, target setting and preparation for inspections, while helping to develop leadership capacity and effective school-to-school support.

The successful candidate will be an established education professional with Qualified Teacher Status, alongside successful Headteacher experience and/or substantial leadership or school improvement experience across Primary/EYFS. You will bring credibility with senior school leaders, a strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and demonstrable experience of delivering school improvement and working successfully in partnership with schools and other agencies.
